28 Aspirant’s Keys
16 Normal GemsBalance Changes
The Balance changes below will be effective everywhere in Diablo Immortal.
BarbarianTerror Unburdened (Demoralize) : The beneficial effects provided by Demoralize will now be disabled when the uncontrollable state is interrupted by another skill.
Developer’s Note : Instead of breaking the interaction entirely, we are disabling the benefits provided by Terror Unburdened when you have control of your character. The benefits of damage reduction, immunity to knockback, and were all meant to counteract that you couldn’t control your character. Considering you can control your character, these effects will be removed in this instance.
Druid
Werebear and Werewolf (Baseline) : The transformations can now trigger while under the effects of total loss of control or knockback. Now drains 4 Primal Power per second down from 5.
Developer’s Note : We heard the feedback that maintaining transformation time was one of the more frustrating aspects of the Druid class, so we are lowering the Primal Power costs to allow you to remain in forms longer. Additionally, we recognize the frustration of not being able to transform when suffering crowd control effects or your transformations being interrupted by them, so you should now be able to transform more freely.
Wizard
Coat of the Astrum (Lightning Nova) :
Lightning Nova projectiles will now disappear when the Wizard dies.
Lightning Nova projectiles will now prefer staying closer to the Wizard.
Lightning Nova deals reduced damage to enemies further away from the Wizard.Developer’s Note : The wild arcing Lightning Nova provided by this affix was too dominant, especially given the introduction of the new Skybreaker set. The range of the effects made it difficult for enemies to fight Wizard characters, and even if you killed them, their Lightning Nova would persist and still kill you.
These changes are aimed to force Wizards into more dangerous situations to maintain pressure and keep up the high damage. We will continue to monitor other synergies of this build after these changes have gone live to see if further adjustments need to be made.Sets
Skybreaker’s Bolt 2 Set Bonus : If an enemy suffers from this effect again within the 6-second cooldown the duration will be reduced.
Developer’s Note : Multiple characters running this set effect lead to 100% uptime providing excessive value to other players, so to counter this, the effect will now have its own diminishing returns within the 6-second window.
Feature Updates
Set Bonus UI UpdatesThe Equipment Powers interface has been tweaked to provide a snapshot of all equipped Set Item abilities at a glance. If you prefer the expanded view, you can still access it by selecting the ‘See All’ button.
AFK Farming Damage Re-enable
To help discourage AFK farming, we are reintroducing the acid pits that will spawn and kill players if too much time is spent away from their keyboard.Blood Knight Transform Skill Re-mapping
We have introduced the ability to re-map your secondary skills when using the Blood Knight’s Abomination. Previously, your secondary skills which only became available when using the Blood Knight’s transformation were unable to be re-mapped to your inputs of choice. You can now re-map these sub-skills through the Skill Book UI.This functionality was recently released with the Druid, so it’s now being retroactively applied to the Blood Knight.
Familiar Swap Button Change
We’ve added a button within the Familiars UI so that you can quickly swap a Bonded Familiar into the Companion Slot. Select a Bonded familiar and click the crossed swords next to Remove to swap with the Companion familiar.Loyalty Bonus Reset Time Optimization
Loyalty Points will now reset and be converted into Legacy Loyalty Points when we introduce new Legendary Equipment instead of when the server reaches the Paragon Level for a new difficulty.Season 14 Challenge Rifts
Challenge Rift levels are increasing from 550 to 600 and the Combat Rating requirements for 530 to 550 have been lowered. Additionally, the server first clear for the highest Challenge Rift level will record the top 3 players instead of only the first player to complete the Challenge Rift.Damage Changes in Inferno I-VI
We are lowering the damage for the open world, hidden lairs, Helliquary bosses, and normal dungeons for Inferno I-VI by about 20%.
